Huchuy Qosqo Trek 2D/1N

Embark on an unforgettable two-day adventure through the heart of the Andes with the Huchuy Qosqo Trek, a journey that reveals the untouched beauty and living culture of the Sacred Valley. This route, lesser-known yet incredibly scenic, is ideal for travelers who wish to connect with nature, history, and the warmth of Andean hospitality.

Your trek begins near Cusco, following ancient Inca trails that wind through high mountain passes, shimmering lagoons, and rolling grasslands surrounded by snow-capped peaks. Along the way, encounter remote Quechua communities, where time seems to stand still and traditions are proudly preserved. Experience daily life in the Andes—sharing laughter, stories, and meals prepared with ingredients fresh from the land, such as the traditional pachamanca, cooked beneath the earth.

The highlight of the trek is the arrival at the fascinating archaeological site of Huchuy Qosqo, or “Little Cusco,” perched above the Sacred Valley. Here, you’ll walk among ancient terraces, ceremonial plazas, and finely crafted stone structures that tell the story of Inca ingenuity and spiritual connection to the land.

Perfect for those seeking a genuine cultural exchange combined with awe-inspiring natural beauty, this trek offers a profound look into Peru’s living heritage—where every step resonates with history, and every encounter brings you closer to the heart of the Andes.
